Martin Kollmorgen is the founder and Chief Investment Officer of Serenity Alternative Investments. His experience in institutional asset management encompasses a unique blend of expertise in quantitative investing and fundamentally driven equity portfolio research. Immediately prior to founding Serenity, Martin spent 5 years as a lead analyst at Deutsche Asset and Wealth management, also known as RREEF, which is one of the largest dedicated REIT funds in the world. As sole underwriter for multiple property sectors, Martin was responsible for coverage of upwards of 30 stocks representing almost 20% of RREEF’s total domestic equities portfolio.
Prior to working at Deutsche Bank, Martin was a quantitative analyst at Quantitative Services Group, a boutique research firm serving the quantitative investment community. In this role he learned the nuances of quantitative investing and trading, working as a consultant on a variety of trading and stock selection strategies. Marty graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a degree in Quantitative Economics, and his background in both quantitatively and fundamentally managed strategies drives the differentiated approach Serenity takes toward investing in equities.
